I do not believe there is such a thing as selfless acts. At least for people. Animals too I guess, but that’s besides the point.
And excluding God’s Sacrifice, I have yet to be experiencing or have experienced selflessness.
Actually come to think of it the Bible says that our God calls Himself “a selfish God.”
So God is selfish, but His selfishness is Righteous and Holy.
But unfortunately we aren’t God.
Every one of us, as a child, went through a “mine” phase. And all of us will always remain children on the inside.
See, I think the fact we deem selfishness as a bad trait already shows we don’t have the same wisdom and comprehension as God. After all, what good can come out of being selfish?
